Clowns Without Borders Sweden is a humanitarian organisation that uses culture, creativity and play to support children living in situations of war, conflict, displacement and other crises.
Through artistic performances, creative workshops and meaningful human connection, professional artists create safe spaces where children can laugh, express themselves and, for a moment, simply be children. Working together with local partners, the organisation reaches children and families in humanitarian settings around the world, as well as in Sweden.
The organisation's work is grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which recognizes every child's right to play, participate in cultural life and engage in creative expression. Access to culture and play is not a luxury, but an essential part of children's wellbeing, resilience and recovery.
